with Jim Hartwell

$250

Discover the exciting world of Computer-Aided Design (CAD) and 3D printing in this hands-on, engaging class. Participants will learn the differences between hand-drawn and CAD-generated drawings, including Orthographic and Isometric views, while gaining practical experience using the SolidWorks CAD software. Students will explore essential design tools, create their own parts and assemblies, and learn how digital designs are transformed into physical objects through the Computer-Aided Manufacturing (CAM) process and 3D printing. Participants are responsible for the cost of the plastic used to print their projects.
