Travel Adventure Cookie Decorating - Sturgis

Participants will decorate and take home 6 beautifully designed sugar cookies to enjoy or share. Beginner Cake Decorating Class

This class is perfect for beginners, hobby bakers, and anyone looking to develop foundational cake decorating skills in a fun and supportive environment. NOTE: $150 Supplie fee will be paid at the first class to Rustic Nook Bakery.

Learn how to make delicious homemade ground lamb potstickers, from preparing a flavorful filling to mastering folding and pan-searing techniques. You'll discover how to season lamb with classic Asian ingredients such as ginger, garlic, soy sauce, sesame oil, and fresh herbs, as well as how to marinate and roast an Asian-inspired leg of lamb for exceptional tenderness and flavor. The class will also cover proper slicing and presentation techniques to create a restaurant-quality main course. In addition, you'll learn how to pair your dishes with complementary sides and sauces while gaining practical tips for confidently cooking with lamb in your everyday meals. NOTE: Students will pay instructor $25 for supplies.
Advanced Cake Decorating Class

Take your cake decorating skills to the next level in this advanced hands-on class! Students will learn the techniques for properly stacking and supporting a two-tier cake, as will as creating elegant vintage-style piping designs that are making a comeback in modern cake decorating. This class is designed for decorators who already have a foundation in cake decorating and are ready to expand their skills with more advanced techniques and professional finishing touches. NOTE: Students need to have completed the Beginner Cake Decorating Class before enrolling.
Learn to Homebrew
with Ale Riders Homebrew Club Members
Celebrate American Homebrewers Association annual "Learn to Homebrew Day" with this hands-on class led by experienced members of the Ale Riders Homebrew Club, bringing 30+ years of homebrewing expertise. Participants will observe and assist in brewing an All Grain 5-gallon batch of beer, while learning the fundamentals of the brewing process. Topics include essential equipment, ingredients (grains, hops, yeast, and adjuncts), water profiles, fermentation, and proper cleaning and sanitizing. The class also includes guided discussion and a Q&A session, making it perfect for beginners or anyone interested in starting their homebrewing journey. Note: Please bring a valid ID for age verification (21+). Participants are encouraged to bring paper and pencil for note-taking. For safety reasons, no open-toed shoes are permitted.
