Travel Adventure Cookie Decorating - Sturgis

Pack your bags of sugar and flour, and don’t forget your icing tips — the Travel Adventure Cookie Decorating Class is ready for takeoff! From iconic landmarks to dreamy destinations, you’ll decorate delicious cookies inspired by the spirit of travel and cultures around the world. Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned decorator, this sweet adventure is sure to be a first-class experience! Participants will decorate and take home 6 beautifully designed sugar cookies to enjoy or share. NOTE: Additional $35 fee paid to the instructor at the start of class will be for materials and supplies. NOTE: Image is not exactly what you will be making but simillar.
Crochet Bootcamp - Sturgis

New to crochet? This focused, hands-on “Boot Camp” is designed for absolute beginners who want to learn the basics in a single afternoon through a structured, supportive, and immersive session. You’ll receive step-by-step instruction, guided practice, and individualized support as you learn how to hold yarn and hooks, make a slip knot and foundation chain, and work single and double crochet stitches while understanding tension and stitch height. By the end of class, you’ll also be able to recognize and correct common beginner mistakes and feel confident continuing on your own. Students will complete a small practice swatch to demonstrate the stitches learned, as this is a skill-building workshop rather than a full project class. Please bring worsted weight yarn in a light color, a 5.5–6.5 mm hook (or size appropriate for your yarn), scissors, and optional stitch markers; no prior experience is required, and breaks will be included.

Discover Lamb: Asian Flavors Made Easy - Sturgis

Learn how to make delicious homemade ground lamb potstickers, from preparing a flavorful filling to mastering folding and pan-searing techniques. You'll discover how to season lamb with classic Asian ingredients such as ginger, garlic, soy sauce, sesame oil, and fresh herbs, as well as how to marinate and roast an Asian-inspired leg of lamb for exceptional tenderness and flavor. The class will also cover proper slicing and presentation techniques to create a restaurant-quality main course. In addition, you'll learn how to pair your dishes with complementary sides and sauces while gaining practical tips for confidently cooking with lamb in your everyday meals. NOTE: Students will pay instructor $25 for supplies.
