Have you always wanted to learn stained glass? In this beginner-friendly class, you’ll create a simple, elegant stained-glass piece while learning essential techniques and terminology. Using a pre-drawn template, you’ll cut, grind, fit, foil, and solder your glass to complete a small hanging artwork. All materials and shared tools are provided, with classes limited to three students for personalized instruction. Please note there is a $50 supply fee payable to the instructor at the time of class.

Have you always wanted to record your memories onto paper so your family can cherish your stories for years to come? This class is open to all ages and writing levels of adults providing writing prompts which will encourage participants to pen their life memories through sensory detail. Creative writing has many benefits aside from preserving valuable memories. It helps sharpen the mind and provides a therapeutic outlet for emotions. Please bring writing materials to each class. Come join this intro level workshop to learn how to create a lovely hand-crafted wool scarf on a Rigid Heddle Loom. All materials, equipment, and handouts will be supplied to you, so just bring yourself prepared to enjoy this hands-on course in an age-old art! We will take a 1-hour lunch break on your own. NOTE: Additional $20 supply fee paid to instructor.

Do you have a crochet project that is stuck, confusing, or just not turning out the way you expected? Bring it to the Fix-It Lab, a relaxed, hands-on workshop designed to help you troubleshoot your crochet projects, understand what went wrong, and get back on track with confidence. You’ll receive individualized guidance for issues like dropped stitches, uneven edges, pattern confusion, or unfinished projects—this is not a “start a new project” class, but a chance to make progress on what you already have. We’ll help you identify and fix common mistakes, count stitches and rows accurately, clarify patterns, and learn how to “read” your crochet work so you can create a plan to finish. Basic crochet skills (slip knot, foundation chain, single and double crochet) are recommended, and participants should bring their current project(s), yarn, hook, scissors, and any patterns they are using.

This beginner-friendly crochet class is perfect for anyone new to the craft. Over four weeks, you’ll learn the basics, including how to choose materials, create foundational stitches, and build even rows. You’ll also gain tips for improving tension, fixing common mistakes, and reading simple patterns. By the end, you’ll have the confidence and skills to start your own beginner crochet projects. Students need to bring: a 5.5 mm (I/9) crochet hooks, a 6.0 mm (J/10) crochet hooks, and at least 1 skein of worsted weight (#4) yarn (Acrilic or cotton is fine, Choose a light or medium soild color, Please avoid dark colors, fuzzy yarns, variegated yarns or novelty yarns) No prior experience is neccessary!

In the session you are guided though the steps on how to build a multiple-signature book. You will learn how to use basic binding tools. This class is a great introduction to book making and participants will leave with their own hand bound, leatherbound journal. Note: An additional $50 supply fee paid to instructor at class for supplies/materials.
