Have you always wanted to learn stained glass? In this beginner-friendly class, you’ll create a simple, elegant stained-glass piece while learning essential techniques and terminology. Using a pre-drawn template, you’ll cut, grind, fit, foil, and solder your glass to complete a small hanging artwork. All materials and shared tools are provided, with classes limited to three students for personalized instruction. Please note there is a $50 supply fee payable to the instructor at the time of class.

This beginner-friendly crochet class is perfect for anyone new to the craft. Over four weeks, you’ll learn the basics, including how to choose materials, create foundational stitches, and build even rows. You’ll also gain tips for improving tension, fixing common mistakes, and reading simple patterns. By the end, you’ll have the confidence and skills to start your own beginner crochet projects. Students need to bring: a 5.5 mm (I/9) crochet hooks, a 6.0 mm (J/10) crochet hooks, and at least 1 skein of worsted weight (#4) yarn (Acrilic or cotton is fine, Choose a light or medium soild color, Please avoid dark colors, fuzzy yarns, variegated yarns or novelty yarns) No prior experience is neccessary!

New to crochet? This focused, hands-on “Boot Camp” is designed for absolute beginners who want to learn the basics in a single afternoon through a structured, supportive, and immersive session. You’ll receive step-by-step instruction, guided practice, and individualized support as you learn how to hold yarn and hooks, make a slip knot and foundation chain, and work single and double crochet stitches while understanding tension and stitch height. By the end of class, you’ll also be able to recognize and correct common beginner mistakes and feel confident continuing on your own. Students will complete a small practice swatch to demonstrate the stitches learned, as this is a skill-building workshop rather than a full project class. Please bring worsted weight yarn in a light color, a 5.5–6.5 mm hook (or size appropriate for your yarn), scissors, and optional stitch markers; no prior experience is required, and breaks will be included.

Come join us to create your own 13-inch Native American hand drum with a drumstick. We’ll use cedar wood (a sacred herb), deer leather, and black walnut to make it unique and beautiful. Then we’ll stain and wrap the drumstick. Don’t miss this opportunity to learn this true native art. NOTE: Additional $140 supply fee paid to instructor at class; cash or debit/credit cards are accepted but no checks please. Students will bring a sack lunch/snack/drink and take a 30-minute break to enjoy.   

Have you mastered the basics of crochet and are ready for your first wearable project? You might be surprised to learn that if you can make a slip knot, foundation chain, and double crochet, you already have the skills needed to create a beautiful poncho. In this two-session workshop, you’ll learn the stitch pattern and simple construction techniques while starting your project in the first class and building confidence reading and repeating the pattern. Between sessions, you’ll continue working at home, and in the second class we’ll answer questions, troubleshoot challenges, and ensure you’re ready to finish on your own. Students should be comfortable with basic skills (slip knot, foundation chain, double crochet, and consistent tension) and bring about 1,400 yards of worsted weight yarn and an appropriate hook (instructor will demonstrate with a 6.0 mm hook).

Hardanger is a traditional Norwegian craft of embroidery that takes its name from that region. You see this beautiful stich work on linens like tablecloths or runners, caps, aprons, bags, and other items. Come join us to learn the basic stitches and work toward finishing a beautiful project of your own. All materials will be provided to you. NOTE: Additional supply fee paid to instructor at class is minimal.
