In this class, we will navigate some of the vernacular of planning with wills and preparing to protect familial harmony in probate. This class will provide basic knowledge and dispel a few myths regarding South Dakota Wills and Trusts law. This is your chance to expand your knowledge of basic tools for effective estate planning, help answer your questions, learn how to keep your minor children, loved ones, and money out of court and conflict. Gaining knowledge of the law is time well spent.

Finding Your Dream Job

This engaging presentation is for those people who are unemployed, or for those who are underemployed, or for those who are simply looking for better fitting or more fulfilling work.  It is also applicable to the person who would like to start their own small business and, thereby, “create” a new job.  It is for those who are looking for their first job, or any job, as well as for those who are already mid-career, but want to know how to go about finding something better. Each student will go home with "Successfully Unemployed: Finding or Creating your Dream Job" written by Alan Sherwood your instructor. Additional $5 will be paid to the instructor for supplies. 

The Environment Inside Your Body

You’ll learn how substances move through ecosystems and food systems, including concepts like bioaccumulation and biomagnification. The class examines common contaminants such as microplastics, heavy metals, and pesticides, along with what science says about their long-term health effects. With a focus on understanding rather than fear, participants will gain tools to interpret risks and make informed choices. No scientific background is required—just curiosity about how our environment shapes our health.
